Please note that:

If you had paid for gStrings in the past...

  1. Uninstall any previously installed versions of gStrings or Waves.
  2. Download the latest versions of both gStrings and Waves from Google Play, making sure Google Play is set up to use the same gMail account you had at the time of your original purchase of gStrings.
  3. Run gStrings, select menu -> info, and verify your last status response is 'LICENSED'.
  4. Run Waves, tap on 'Purchase status' in the settings tab, then select 'Verify'.
  5. (Optional) You may remove gStrings from your phone now; Waves will continue to run.

If you had paid for Waves...

  1. Uninstall any previously installed versions of Waves.
  2. Download the latest version from Google Play, making sure Google Play is set up to use the same gMail account you had at the time of your original purchase of Waves.
  3. Run Waves, select the settings tab, then scroll down to 'Purchase status'.
  4. The status will change from 'trial' to 'purchased' automatically in ~2-3 seconds.

If the above steps have not helped...

Although they have worked for tens of thousands of users, you may just have encountered an unlikely temporary Google Play caching issue. In this case, please take the time to read/understand the steps and try again a day or two later.

If your verification/activation is still failing, please send an email with your order number (found in the email Google sent you when you purchased gStrings or Waves) to waves-at-cohortor-dot-org, so I can help resolve your issue.

Thank you.
